2. Usage and dosage
Usually 7.5 mg / kg of body weight is administered every 12 hours (15 mg / Kg / day). The administration period is usually 5 to 10 days. This drug has no change in bioavailability due to food, so it should be administered regardless of diet. Can be taken with meals or with milk
For renal failure patients with a creatinine clearance of less than 30 mL / min, the dose should be reduced to half. Do not take more than 14 days for such patients.
