1) Composition
Simvastatin----20mg
2) Indications
Primary hyperlipemia : hypercholesterolemia(IIa type), mixed type of hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia(IIb type)
3) Dosage & Administration
(1) Patients at high risk of coronary events because of existing coronary heart disease, diabetes, perihperal vessel disease, history of stroke or other cerebrovascualr disease : Initial dose is 40mg a day.
(2) Patient in hyeprcholestesterolemia due to existing coronary heart disease. Initial dose is 20mg a day. To reduce LDL-C, initial dose is 10mg a day.
